A 60-year-old Amsterdam man is facing multiple charges following his alleged involvement in a hit-and-run accident in Alliance.
Richard J. Tulodzieski was apprehended by authorities on August 24th, at approximately 11:30 AM, in connection with three active warrants issued by the Alliance Municipal Court. The warrants stem from a hit-and-run incident, obstructing official business, and pedestrian-crosswalk violations that occurred on the previous day.
The hit-and-run incident in question transpired when Tulodzieski was operating a silver Jeep Cherokee traveling southbound on S. Arch Ave. While turning left onto E. Market St., his vehicle struck a woman who was traversing the crosswalk. The collision resulted in serious physical harm to the pedestrian.
The warrants, which were officially issued on August 23rd, accused Tulodzieski of Leaving the Scene of an Accident Hit/Skip-Injury (F4), Obstructing Official Business (M2), and Pedestrian-Crosswalk (TM) violations.
Tulodzieski voluntarily turned himself in at the Alliance Police Department, accompanied by his legal counsel.
Following his apprehension, Tulodzieski was processed at the Alliance City Jail before subsequently being transferred to the Stark County Jail for booking.
