In a remarkable showcase of skill, the Carrollton Warriors girls golf team emerged victorious at the Alliance tournament hosted at Alliance County Club.
The Lady Warriors secured the tournament championship with a team score of 343.
The Louisville Leopards followed Carrollton, clinching the second position with a score of 396, while Massillon claimed the third spot with a score of 415. The Marlington girls landed in fifth place, registering a score of 418. However, it was Carrollton’s astonishing 53-stroke lead that truly distinguished their triumph.
Leading the charge for Carrollton was senior Ashlee Garner, whose exceptional performance earned her a score of 80. Carrollton senior Claire Hostetler, and the talented sophomore, Kaylee Russell, both finished with matching scores of 86.
Jada Moore, another sophomore standout, recorded a solid score of 91. Closing out the team’s effort was Mackenzie Rummell who completed her round with a score of 108.
