Massillon City School District is facing an ongoing investigation into an alleged hazing incident involving its football team.

Nate Moore, the head football coach, has been placed on administrative leave pending the misconduct investigation.

However, Massillon Superintendent Paul Salvino has remained unresponsive to multiple attempts for comment since JMN first reported the story on July 10.

Massillion’s Communications Director Olivia Bronczek said no further comment will be given to JMN on the investigation.

According to Massillon Police, the department was contacted on June 27 for reports of alleged hazing. The details surrounding the alleged hazing have not been released at this time.

The district emphasized its commitment to prioritizing the safety and well-being of its students.

The case is currently being investigated by the Massillon Police Department.
