The Canton Police Department is investigating a stabbing incident involving two men at an apartment complex Sunday evening.
According to police, two men were involved in a verbal altercation just before 10 p.m. Sunday night at the Heritage House on High Ave SW.
Police say Terry Windbigler, 56, of Canton pulled out a knife during the altercation and stabbed a 54-year-old man from Canton several times in the face and back of the head.
The stabbing victim was not a resident of the Heritage House.
The injuries to the victim were non-life threatening and described as lacerations, according to police. He was treated at Aultman Hospital.
Windbigler is facing charges of Felonious Assault.
