Marlington lost a closely contested game to Canfield in the regional by a score of 2-1.
The Dukes scored first on an Emma Jackson solo home run to deep left field to take a 1-0 lead.
Canfield scored runs in the top of the 2nd inning and fifth inning.
Marlington was unable to overcome the deficit as their season ended with two losses on the year.
