A 28-year-old Canfield man is facing charges following a Columbiana County fatal crash.
Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers say Lowell Horst, 28, went left of center along Route 172 near Zepernick Lake on September 23 and crashed into an SUV operated by 81-year-old Mary Coss of Massillon.
Horst was secretly indicted by the Columbiana County Grand Jury on charges of aggravated vehicular homicide and vehicular assault, both felonies.
Leslie Coss was seriously injured in the crash, according to the indictment.
Horst is free on a $75,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in front of Judge Scott Washam on May 4 for arraignment.
