Louisville man enters guilty plea for crash that killed man

A 31-year-old man from Louisville will learn his fate in June for a wrong-way DUI crash that claimed the life of a Wayne County man.

In July of 2022, Franco Guidone drove across the median on U.S. Route 30 and into oncoming traffic heading west, killing Douglas Fahrni, 65, of Apple Creek..

Guidone entered guilty pleas to charges that include aggravated vehicular homicide in Fahrni’s death.

Guidone suffered a broken leg in the crash.
