Suspects crash stolen car into Stark County businesses, steal guns

The Canal Fulton Police Department is investigating after two businesses were damaged by four suspects and a stolen car early Tuesday morning.

According to a press release from the Canal Fulton Police Department, a Kia Soul with four unknown suspects in it intentionally drove through the front entrances of two businesses along S. Locust St in the village at 4:06 a.m.

The businesses that received the damage were D&D Precision and Delong Lures.

The four suspects entered the businesses, wearing masks, and then stole multiple guns from D&D Precision, according to police. The suspects were quick to be in and out, fleeing the scene in a separate vehicle at 4:08 a.m.

The Kia Soul used in the crime had been stolen from a residence in Canal Fulton overnight, police say.

The incident remains under investigation with the assistance of BCI and ATF.
