A family is safe following a house fire in the 100 block of Scranton Ave in Minerva early Wednesday morning.
The Minerva Fire Department was dispatched to Scranton Ave for reports of a structure fire with two people trapped inside.
By the time the first engine arrived to the scene, everyone had evacuated the residence. No injuries were reported.
Sandy Creek Joint Fire District Chief Aaron Stoller said the home is a total loss.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
