Salem edged Minerva Tuesday evening in girls track and field action by a score of 68-60.
Minerva ran to victory in many of the distance events.
The team’s 4×800 relay team of Hopple, K. Ison, Lupshu and Dunham placed first.
The Lions finished in the top three of the one-mile run. Hoffee led the way for Minerva with a time of 5:19, followed by K. Crissman with a time of 5:43 and Lupshu with a time of 6:01.
K. Crissman, Annabelle Crissman and Dunham also fished first through third, respectively, in the 800-meter run.
Hannah Ison (11:51), Hoffee (11:55) and Ison/Hopple finished first through third in the two-mile run.
Minerva’s 4X400 relay team of Samantha Crissman, Annabelle Crissman, Foor and Loveless won the event with a time of 4:31.
Autumn Thompson finished second in the discuss event for Minerva with a throw of 103′ 1″.
Cleo Mueller won the high jump with a jump of 5′ and finished second in the long jump with a leap of 16′ 2.75″.
In the 100 hurdles, Samantha Crissman finished second with a time of 19:83.
