A 16-year-old driver died after crashing his truck, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
The teen was driving a Chevrolet Silverado eastbound around Evans Road when he went left of center around 5 p.m. near Nonpariel Road.
The truck traveled off the side of the road and struck a mailbox before heading back onto the road and off the other side. The truck then struck a ditch, a fence and a tree before coming to a rest.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released at this time.
The crash remains under investigation. Drugs and/or alcohol are not suspected factors in the crash.
