The Canton Police Department is investigating a shooting that happened Friday morning in the city.

According to police spokesperson Dennis Garren, officers were dispatched to Greenfield Ave SW just off Navarre Rd SW near Harrison Ave SW.

Details are limited, but as of 1 p.m., detectives with the crime scene unit were on scene.
