The Canton Police Department and FBI agents arrested a suspect in connection with a Huntington Bank robbery last month inside the Giant Eagle store on Raff Road SW at West Tuscarawas Street.

Andrew Fisher, 34, of Canton, was arrested Wednesday and charged with aggravated robbery for the robbery that occurred in the afternoon of Feb. 1.

It’s alleged that Fisher walked into the Giant Eagle location and to the Huntington Bank branch inside the grocery story. He was wearing a black ski mask and a blue jacket when he approached the teller and handed her a note demanding cash.

The suspect received an undisclosed amount of cash and left the building in an unknown direction.

Fisher also faces a couple of felony drug charges.

He was picked up without incident Wednesday at a home in the 1500 block of 30th Street NW.
