The Carrollton and Minerva girls’ bowling teams were heavily represented on the 2022-23 All-Eastern Buckeye Conference team.

The Warriors and Lions tied for first in the final league standings with each team sporting a 5-1 record, with both head coaches Gary Cress (Minerva) and Wendy Russell (Carrollton) being named EBC Co-Coaches of the Year. Minerva sophomore Jadyn Thompson was named the conference’s Player of the Year.

Thompson – one of two sophomores who claimed a spot within the First or Second teams – was joined by teammate Shelby Worrell on the EBC First Team, while Carrollton seniors Aubrey Taylor and Joline Greaves took the final two spots.

On the Second team were Warriors juniors Abby Natcher and Zoey Elliott, along with Minerva senior Lydia Sanor and Marlington sophomore Cora Wines.

Honorable Mention picks included Alliance’s Tamra Jackson and Samantha Kiser; Carrollton’s Kaylee Russell and Hailee Ulman; Marlington’s Chrystina Pate and Karlaysia West-Cole; and Minerva’s Anna Leach and Kayla Henderhan.
