The Massillon Police are investigating a shooting that left a man dead Friday morning.
According to police, they responded to the northeast side of the city for reports of a man shot.
When officers arrived to the scene, they located an unresponsive man who had been shot. He was transported to a local hospital where he died from his injuries.
A suspect was quickly identified and taken into custody, but the Massillon Police department has not released the name of the alleged suspect or the victim.
The investigation is ongoing at this time.
