The Alliance Fire Department continues to investigate a fire that occurred in the city on Thursday afternoon.
Three people were inside the house located at 1335 S. Arch Ave when the fire began. Two of the occupants escaped onto the roof, but the third was later found dead inside the home, according to Alliance Fire officials.
When crews first arrived to the house fire just after noon, the house was fully involved. The fire then spread to a neighboring home.
Sebring responded with a ladder truck to battle the blaze.
The Ohio State Fire Marshal is now investigating the fire, according to officials. The cause of the fire is unknown pending investigation.
