An 11-day search for a missing Canton man has come to an end in Norton.

Norton police believe a body located within the city is that of a Canton man who they believe was in a traffic crash in their city 11 days earlier.

Matthew Duplain, 39, was found dead Tuesday beneath a sewer grate in Norton.

Norton police say Duplain ran off from a traffic accident near the Route 21/Wooster Road W freeway interchange on December 30.

Duplain was reported missing that day and found on Tuesday, Jan. 10.

The Summit Medical Examiner is investigating. The cause of death has not been determined
