Lowry leads Canfield to first state title over Bloom-Carroll

CANTON, Ohio – Canfield High School took home their first state championship in school history via their 35-14 victory over Bloom-Carroll in the Division III final at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton.

Quarterback Broc Lowry accounted for five touchdowns for the Cardinals (14-1), scoring in the passing (once), rushing (three times), and receiving (once) departments. The Indiana commit completed 10 of 17 passes and racked up 95 passing yards. On the ground, Lowry had 121 rushing yards on 24 carries.

Brodyn Bishop managed a 3-yard touchdown reception from Bulldogs quarterback Ethan Thanthanavong (15-24, 154 passing yards), while Chase Plantz tabbed a late touchdown run for Carroll (14-2).
