The Canton Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a two-vehicle crash that claimed the life of a young Minerva woman Thursday afternoon.
Troopers were dispatched to Wood Ave SE near Hillvale Street NE in Osnaburg Township, according to a press release issued by OSHP.
The investigation indicates that Ava E. Burman, 22, of Minerva traveled left of center on Wood Ave SE heading north and struck a Ford Van traveling the southbound.
Burman was transported to Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital by Osnaburg Township EMS where she died from her injuries.
Jeffery S. Kashdan, 37, of East Canton was the driver of the Ford Van. He and his passenger sustained non-life threatening injuries.
Alcohol nor drugs were factors in this crash. All parties involved were wearing seatbelts, according to OSHP.
