CANTON – Two children died on Saturday after the truck their father was driving rolled over and hit a tree.
At approximately 9:22 p.m., officers responded to the 900 block of Harrison Avenue NW, where a Ford F550 had lost control and rolled once before striking a tree.
According to the Canton police report, The vehicle had three occupants, including 31-year-old Javon Moore, who was transported to Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Moore’s two children – 13-year-old Kayden Compton and 10-year-old Brayden Kaufman – were pronounced dead at the scene.
It is unknown if drugs, alcohol, or speed were a factor in the crash at this time, according to the Canton police report.
