The Canton Police Department’s SWAT team is on scene of a home in the 900 block of Rosemont CT NW due to a subject who barricaded himself inside, according to Canton police spokesperson Dennis Garren.
JMN is told that the area is contained, but dispatchers did contact officials within Canton City Schools to inform them of what is going on so students who attend Clarendon Intermediate School can adjust their travel plans to school accordingly.
Students who attend McKinley High School should already be at school for the day.
