Dover’s boys’ golfers earned a Tuesday match win over New Philadelphia at Union Country Club.

Dylan Grewell posted a team-best 39 for the Crimson Tornadoes, alongside qualifying scores from Zach Dale (41), Devon McGlothlin (42), and 44s from Jacob Hanner and Ryan Yoder.

SANDY VALLEY 142, CONOTTON VALLEY 183, EAST CANTON 196

Connor Ritter nailed a hole-in-one en route to a 9-under-par 27 to lead Sandy Valley to a team-best 142 in their Tuesday triangular win.

Ritter’s ace – on the 185-yard par 3 14th hole at Wilkshire – was one of two eagles for the reigning individual state champion during the Cardinals’ Tuesday match with Conotton Valley and East Canton High Schools.

The Cardinals (10-2, 7-1 IVC) were also backed by a pair of 37s from John and Thorn, along with a 41 from Lucas.

Isaac Kandel led the Hornets with a 44, while Jeremiah Kandel added a 47.

HILAND 158, TUSCARAWAS VALLEY

Lucas Yoder shot a 36 to lead Hiland past Tusky Valley.

Nathan Kline had a 38 for the Hawks, while Jack Mast posted a 39, and Monty Coblentz shot 45.

GARAWAY 149, CLAYMONT 175

Carter Miller carded a 2-under 31 to lead the Pirates past Claymont on Tuesday.

Garaway also received scores from Trace Gibson (37), Nick Maust (39), and Caleb Meek (41).

CARROLLTON 158, WEST BRANCH 162

Carrollton just pulled past West Branch in a rainy Tuesday match at Flying Bee Golf Course.

For the winning Warriors, Jaxon Rinkes shot 37 and was followed by scores from John Birong (38), Cayden Rininger (41), and Micah Barkan (42).

Landon Wilson was West Branch’s low scorer at 40, while Reed Williams carded a 41.

West Branch dropped to 10-2.

Strasburg won by four strokes over East Canton.

Claymont handed Hiland its first loss of the season via a four-set Tuesday night affair in Uhrichsville.

The Mustangs (6-1) received 12 points from Kailey Watkins, along with 14 digs and 11 kills.

Chloe Brindley added 20 assists and eight points for Claymont, while Emily Grant had 10 kills and two blocks.

Ava Troyer had 19 kills and three blocks for the Hawks, along with the performances of Haley Yoder (15 kills, 19 digs) and Ava Weaver (33 assists).

SANDY VALLEY 18-26-25-25, GARAWAY 25-24-21-16

Snay Valley overcame an opening set loss to best Garaway on Tuesday in four sets.

Morgan Schlabach led the had a pair of aces and 21 kills, while Nicole Custer had 12 kills and two blocks).

Shelby Gerber added 31 assists and 19 digs, while Hailey Schlabach totaled 25 digs.

INDIAN VALLEY 25-25-25, RIDGEWOOD 18-21-13

Indian Valley swept Ridgewood in straight sets on Tuesday in West Lafayette.

Sade Dryden scored 18 points for the Braves, adding a pair of aces, 33 assists, 12 digs, and one block.

Celeste Rummell had 10 points, 13 digs, one ace, and one assist for the Braves, while Gabby Meade added 10 points with three aces, one assist, seven kills, 17 digs, and four blocks.

Strasburg won in straight sets over host East Canton.

Ada Richards led the Tigers with 15 points, 10 assists, and 10 aces.

Riley Thomas added 13 kills and three blocks for Strasburg, while Zoey Minard had 11 points.

Carrollton topped Salem in three sets on Tuesday to improve to 2-1 in EBC play and 5-3 overall.
