A 19-year-old woman pleaded guilty Wednesday to vehicular manslaughter as a result of a 2021 accident that killed the passenger in her car. The accident happened in Warren Township on Dec. 12.

Alexis N. Snair, 19, of Carrollton, is accused of running a stop sign at the New Cumberland Rd and 212 intersection, crashing into another vehicle, causing both vehicles to travel off the road. As a result of the accident, Nichole L. Hunt, 40, of Canton, died. Hunt was the aunt of Snair and the passenger in the vehicle.

On Wednesday, Snair was sentenced to 10 days in jail, which is to be served on a work crew. She was also ordered to pay a $750 fine and court costs in addition to completing 100 hours of community service.

Hunt was a graduate of Malvern High School.
