Federal agents arrested a man in Canton on Thursday morning who was wanted out of Pennsylvania for allegedly raping three children under the age of 18.
The US Marshals arrested 34-year-old David Hanshe on five counts of rape stemming from accusations between 2013 and 2016. The youngest victim is said to be 18 months old.
Hanshe was arrested in the 1100 block of 16th Street NE. Officials said he had been living in the Canton area for about a year.
“The crimes this fugitive is accused of committing are despicable and deserving of just punishment,” said U.S. Marshal Pete Elliott. “Our task force members dropped everything and made this case a priority.”
Marshals also discovered a gun during the arrest.
