Vincent Lindsey Jr. approved as new Strasburg superintendent

STRASBURG, Ohio (Jordan Miller News) – Strasburg-Franklin Local Schools Board Education approved Vincent Lindsey Jr. to be the district’s next superintendent during Thursday night’s board meeting.

Lindsey arrives after eight years as Massillon Middle School Principal. He also worked as an assistant principal at Alliance Middle School (2012-2014), and as a teacher in Plain Local Schools (2005-12).

“Strasburg-Franklin Local Schools has a community that takes pride in their school and students,” Lindsey stated via a Thursday press release. “The feeling of community is evident as I begin to develop relationships with community members. That Tiger Pride is contagious.”

Strasburg-Franklin Local Schools Board president Wes Hostetler states, “The Board is excited to have Mr. Lindsey as our next leader of the district. It became clear in our search that he will not only carry on the current success but build upon it. He has a great deal of dedication, excitement, and enthusiasm that is shown through his energy for all kids.”

Lindsey will receive a three-year contract beginning on Aug. 1.
