On Tuesday, June 14, the New Philadelphia Police Department was dispatched to the 1800 block of East High Ave at the Beaver Creek Apartments for reports of pedestrian struck by a car.

When officers arrived to the scene, they located two injured males at the apartment complex and the suspect vehicle no where to be found. Both injured men were transported to the hospital.

The suspect vehicle was located shortly after the crash and a 22-year-old New Philadelphia man was taken into custody.
