The Stark County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating a homicide in East Canton (Canton Township).
Sheriff George Maier states that deputies were dispatched to Hardington Ave NE near 12th St NE, East Canton, OH, 44730 at 8:58 p.m. on Tuesday to investigate a report of a body located along the road that was called in by a passerby.
When they arrived on scene, they located a deceased male. The investigation is ongoing.
Deputies were assisted by the Stark County Coroner’s Office and the Canton Township Fire Department. This case remains under investigation by the Stark County Sheriff’s Office.
