NEW PHILADELPHIA, Ohio (JMN Sports) – A pair of New Philadelphia football players signed letters of intent on Tuesday to continue their athletic careers in college.
Jadan Lowery signed a NLI to play football at Washington & Jefferson College (Pennsylvania), while Elliott Warner signed to Mount Union.
Lowery worked on the offensive and defensive lines for the Quakers, while Warner specialized as a kicker.
Both received All-Ohio honors this past fall, with Warner making Third Team and Lowery earning an Honorable Mention as a defensive lineman.
Lowery also accomplished First Team ECOL and Eastern District honors after recording 25 tackles (16 solo) and five sacks. He is also a three-time letter winner, as well as a two-year letter honoree for the New Philadelphia basketball team.
Warner, a 4-time letter winner for the football program, is a two-time East District honoree and a 2020 Second Team All-Ohioan. Warner drilled 19-of-28 field goal kicks (68%) for his high school career, with a career-long 47-yard field goal. He also has earned letters in tennis, baseball, and swimming.
