New Philadelphia dropped to 0-2 on the boys tennis season after a 4-1 loss to visiting Louisville on Monday.
Reese Malcolm posted the lone Quaker individual victory in the No. 1 singles match.
Malcolm defeated Louisville’s Austin Beck in a 12-10 super tiebreaker.
Meanwhile, Jordi Kopp lost in two sets to Riley Nieschwitz (6-0, 6-1), while Vincent Henning fell to Ben Selby (6-4, 6-2).
In doubles, the Leopards’ Cole and Carter Duskey swept the duo of Mason Clarkson and Owen Ohl (6-0, 6-0) while Quakers Trenton Huff and Hudson Osborn fell 6-0, 6-3 to Isaiah Gray and Garett Holleran.
