A Massillon man was arrested Wednesday morning at his home on child abuse charges, according to court records
Mark B. Toland, 27, has been charged with felony endangering children after police believe he injured a child between Jan. of 21 and May of 21.
Toland was arrested at his home by U.S. Marshals Violent Fugitive Task Force.
The child’s mother is also being searched for on the same charge, according to court documents.
The abuse started when the child was under one-year-old.
Toland and the child’s mother were indicted Feb. 18. Officials believe they lived together when the child was injured.
The child lives with their maternal grandparents at this time.
