A 23-year-old woman is facing sexual assault charges after police say she sexually assaulted residents at an assisted living facility she worked at in Massillon.
Tiara Lynn Ford, 23, of Canton, was arrested and booking into the Stark County Jail on one count of rape and two counts of gross sexual imposition, according to court records.
Police say the residents ranged from 79 to 90 years old, and they were all in the memory care unit at The Inn at University Village suffering from Alzheimer’s or dementia.
The alleged crimes took place between December of 2019 and December of 2021, according to police. Massillon Police got involved after someone sent graphic videos of the alleged assaults to the assisted living home.
In a statement, The Inn at University Village said: “The safety and well-being of our residents is our highest priority. We are fully cooperating with the authorities in their investigation.”
