An accident that claimed the life of a Conotton Valley student and left another in the ICU is being investigated by the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office, according to officials.
Many community members have taken to social media to honor the life loss and send prayers to the family of the student critically injured.
The accident occurred on State Route 212 down by the Leesville Lake entrance, near the Conotton Valley school. Both students involved were key parts of the Rockets athletic teams.
