One person is dead following a house fire in the 1300 block of Lakeview Rd in New Philadelphia Friday morning.
New Philadelphia fire officials say they were dispatched to the home for reports of a fire. When they entered the home, they were able to pull the victim from the home, but they later died.
Another person was inside the home when the fire broke out, but escaped unharmed. The cause of the fire remains under investigation. The identity of the victim has not been released.
