The Garaway Pirates spoiled Sandy Valley’s Senior Night with a 38-36 overtime win over the Cardinals on Wednesday night.

Meghan Schwartz scored 15 points for the Lady Bucs (8-8, 5-4 IVC South, while Kenadi Yoder added 10 points and nine rebounds.

The Sisters Parker (Abbey and Jordan) each scored 12 points to lead Sandy (11-5, 5-4 South).

JOHN GLENN 55, DOVER 46

John Glenn picked up a road victory over Dover on Wednesday.

Mya Oliver tallied 15 points for the Lady Muskies, while Angela Kumler added 12 points.

Morgan Kiser led the Crimson Tornadoes (6-8) with 20 points and seven rebounds. Tori Jones added 14 points and four assists for Dover, while Taylor Luneborg totaled eight rebounds.

TUSCARAWAS VALLEY 38, INDIAN VALLEY 26

Tusky Valley High School remained unbeaten in IVC South place (9-0) with a Wednesday night home victory over Indian Valley.

Ashley Merrick scored 15 points for the Trojans (13-2 overall), while Kaleigh Norris pitched in nine points.

The Braves (1-14, 0-8 South) were led in scoring by Ashton Doak, who totaled 13 points.

TUSCARAWAS CENTRAL CATHOLIC 58, NEWCOMERSTOWN 21

The Tuscarawas Central Catholic Saints rolled to a blowout win over Newcomerstown n Wednesday.

Reese Triplett nailed four 3-point shots en route to a game-high 21, points, while Maddie Ferrell (16 points) and Gina Sciaretti (10 points, 13 rebounds) contributed to the Saints win.

Ashley Lahmers and Zoe Mathews led the Trojans (1-12, 1-7 IVC North) with 10 points apiece.

TCC’s record moved to 11-3 overall and 8-1 in the IVC North.

MARLINGTON 65, CARROLLTON 15

The Marlington Lady Dukes dominated the Carrollton Warriors in a Wednesday night Eastern Buckeye Conference face-off.

FAIRLESS 42, ORRVILLE 21

Grace Lyon scored 12 points in the Fairless Falcons’ PAC-7 victory over the Red Riders of Orrville on Wednesday.
