New Philadelphia High School announced its girls basketball game against Marietta – originally scheduled for Jan. 3 – has been moved to Jan. 17 at Marietta High School.

New Phila athletic director Tim Fortney announced on Friday the varsity contest’s new date with a 6 p.m. tip-off. The two schools’ junior varsity teams will play two quarters, starting at 5 p.m.

The Lady Quakers (9-1) have not played since their Dec. 29 win over West Branch, 44-37. Their next game comes on Saturday against the Louisville Leopards at 2:30 p.m.
