The Fairless Falcons beat the East Canton Hornets on Thursday night.

Brady Pumneo was the leading scorer for Fairless at 18 points, while Tayler Buttermoore added 16 points.

Gabe Shilling scored 17 points to lead E.C. (3-5).

MALVERN 62, CALDWELL 41

The Malvern Hornets remained unbeaten after taking down Caldwell High School at Thursday night’s Todd Kalivoda Holiday Showcase at Toronto.

Jallen Barrino scored 14 points to lead Malvern, while Noah Ball (10 points) and KJ Thomas (nine points) contributed to the Hornets’ total.

MONROE CENTRAL 52, BUCKEYE TRAIL 44

The Seminoles won at Buckeye Trail on Thursday.

The Warriors fall to 4-6.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

DOVER 38, LAKE 35

The Crimson Tornadoes moved to 3-6 with a close victory over Lake on Thursday.

Morgan Kiser led the Tornadoes with 11 points, while Tori Jones added nine points.

Serenitee Johnson led Lake (4-8) with a game-high 13 points.

RIDGEWOOD 43, INDIAN VALLEY 34

Ridgewood picked up its first conference win of the season over Indian Valley on Thursday night.

Kya Masloski scored a team-high 13 points for the Generals (4-7, 1-5 IVC), while Ashton Doak led the Braves (0-9, 0-6 IVC) with 12 points.

TUSCARAWAS CENTRAL CATHOLIC 49, BUCKEYE TRAIL 44

Reese Triplett scored a game-high 18 points to lead TCC to a win at Buckeye Trail.

The Saints (8-2, 5-1) also received Gina Sciarretti’s 11 points and Maddie Ferrell’s nine in the victory.

BLACKHAWK (Pa.) 53, HILAND 49

Beaver Falls Blackhawk won over Hiland on Thursday night at North Canton Hoover High School.

Quinn Borroni scored 14 points for Blackhawk, while Aila Miller led the Hawks (7-4) with 19 points.

CARROLLTON 47, CANTON CENTRAL CATHOLIC 28

The Lady Warriors handled Canton Central Catholic on Thursday.

Carrollton’s next game will be on the road against Canton South on Jan. 5.
