HS Girls Basketball Monday: New Philadelphia wins in double OT; Marietta’s big 4th downs Dover; Fairless bests TCC

New Philadelphia overcame lost leads in the final period of regulation and first overtime of the Quakers’ 68-64 double-overtime win over Tri-Valley High School on Monday.

Ajia Schreffler and Anna Krupa each scored 28 points to lead N.P., who boosted their record to 7-1. Alyssa Miller added 16 points for the Quakers, while Audrey Harr pitched in 11 points.

The Scotties fell to 8-1 as Lexi Howe led the scoring at 12 points.

FAIRLESS 46, TUSCARAWAS CENTRAL CATHOLIC 26

The Fairless Falcons improved to 6-2 in a non-conference home victory against Tuscarawas Central Catholic.

Grace Lyon scored 17 points to lead Fairless, while Kam Kondrach added 12.

Reese Triplett led the Saints (6-2) with 13 points.

MARIETTA 54, DOVER 42

The Marietta Tigers outscored the Dover Crimson Tornadoes 32-15 in the final period of their Monday matchup.

Lea Lauer led the Tigers (6-5, 1-2 ECOL) with 22 points, while Dover’s Morgan Kiser led all scorers with 26 points.

Dover falls to 1-6 and 0-3 in the ECOL.

CARROLLTON 45, EAST LIVERPOOL 18

Carrollton improved to 3-4 with a non-conference victory over East Liverpool.

Hillari Baker tallied 13 points for the Warriors while Grace Leslie added seven points.

Cate Davis led East Liverpool at five points.

CLAYMONT 65, COSHOCTON 26

Claymont improved to 4-4 with a non-conference victory over Coshocton on Monday.

Bailey Eddleman scored 19 points for Claymont while Emily Grant (16) and Emma Woodward (11) contributed to the Mustangs’ scoring.

Savannah Bartlett led Coshocton (0-5) scoring with 11 points.

CAMBRIDGE 40, GARAWAY 37

Cambridge outscored Garaway 7-2 in the final period of the Bobcats’ non-conference victory on Monday.

Camryn Gebhart scored 12 points for the ‘Cats, while Emma Krinze added 11.

Meghan Schwartz led the Pirates (5-4) with 12 points.
