A late night shooting left two men and a female dead at 3311 Eastport Rd S.E. Dennison, Ohio (Mill Township).

Tuscarawas County Sheriff Orvis Campbell said dispatch received a call at 11:23 Sunday night from a female who seemed to be in distress. During the call, dispatch said the female “had “very little interaction with the 911 dispatcher,”. That’s when dispatch heard what they believed to be multiple gunshots.

When deputies arrived, Sheriff Campbell said they could see a female lying on the floor through a window in a door and forced entry by breaking the glass. EMS immediately removed the female from the home and began to render life-saving aid. She died at Aultman Hospital.

Two men were located in the same room, already dead from gunshot wounds.

The deceased have been identified as: Carl T. Beranek Sr., 69; Dawn Michele Wills, 48; and Richard William Wills II, 67

Sheriff Campbell said the evidence collected implies the shooting is a result of a potentially murder-suicide. The people found shot appear to be a husband and wife and the wife’s father.

No names have been released pending notification of family.

Lt. Adam Fisher leads this investigation along with Detective Cole Morris and Evidence Technician, Sgt. Ryan Hamilton.
