The Stark County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a crash that left four people injured Friday night in Plain Township.
Sheriff George Maier said deputies responded to the call of a single vehicle crash at Party Place, 4530 Whipple Ave. NW in Plain Township.
When deputies arrived, they learned that Jean Smith, 71, of Canton, was driving a 2015 GMC Acadia in the parking lot when she failed to control the vehicle and drove it through the front window of the building and inside the store.
The Plain Township Fire Department responded to the scene. Smith and three patrons of the store were transported to the hospital for evaluation of non-life threatening injuries.
Party Place sustained significant non-structural damage.
