Goodwill stores in the area were forced to temporarily close Tuesday after receiving numerous anonymous threats, according to the organization.

Goodwill confirmed to JMN that two Canton locations received a total of four threats, two by email and two via phone calls.

All Goodwill locations within the Greater Cleveland and East Central Ohio region were closed for their own safety.

The stores that were forced to close were 10 in the Cleveland area and all in Stark County, Carrollton and New Philadelphia.

Goodwill is expected to reopen all of the Goodwill locations Wednesday morning.
