Former Ohio State and pro basketball player Dallas Lauderdale spoke to Fellowship of Christian Athletes students at Strasburg High School on Friday.

According to the St. John United Church of Christ’s Facebook page, Lauderdale “brought a tremendous message to our FCA students about being a reflection of the light of Jesus in our lives.”

Lauderdale played for the Buckeyes’ men’s basketball team from 2007 to 2011. During his college career, Lauderdale averaged 4.2 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks per contest, and was named to the Big Ten’s All-Defensive team for the 2009-10 season.

After going undrafted in 2011, Lauderdale spent six seasons between teams in the NBA’s Developmental League.
