A 71-year-old Canton man is dead after his car was struck head on by another vehicle Monday morning.
The accident occurred near the intersection of State Route 241 and US Route 30 in Tuscarawas Township.
Officials with the Ohio State Highway Patrol said 44-year-old Jennifer Nemeth of North Lawrence lost control of her Jeep Wrangler when she hit ice on a bridge on Route 30.
Nemeth’s car struck Tien Le’s, who died as a result of injuries sustained in the crash.
Nemeth was not injured. Both drivers were wearing seat belts.
The crash remains under investigation.
