Canton Police Chief Jack Angelo says two people were injured in a shooting Sunday night in the 1800 block of Spring Ave N.E.
Chief Angelo reported that officers were dispatched to the area for reports of “shots fired.” When they arrived on scene to investigate, dispatch informed officers that two shooting victims were transported by private vehicle to Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital.
Police say that victims were a man in a woman. The male was treated at the hospital and later released. The woman’s condition is not known at this time.
