For the first time since 2013, Ohioans will be getting a new license plate.
The new standard license plate is set to be revealed at 10 a.m. Thursday by Gov. Mike DeWine and Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles Registrar Charlie Norman.
The current license plate, debuted by former Gov. John Kasich in 2013, features script words and phrases that describe Ohio including “mother of modern presidents” and “17th state.”
JMN will publish a story once the new design is unveiled later Thursday morning.
