The Tuscarawas Valley Trojans won the Inter-Valley Conference South Division title in a straight-sets over Sandy Valley on Thursday (25-11, 25-17, 25-19).

Tusky Valley wins the conference title for the sixth consecutive year and the 22nd time in school history.

Taylor West led the Trojans with 17 kills, 13 points, and four blocks, while Ashley Merrick (21 digs) and Locie Levengood (18 assists) added to Tusky’s victory.

Miah Delaney led Sandy Valley with 11 kills, while Zoe Ward had 23 assists for the Cardinals.

CLAYMONT 25-25-25, GARAWAY 9-22-16

Claymont improved to 15-3 with a straight-sets win over the Pirates.

The Pirates (8-8) were led by Shelby Gerber (10 digs, 22 assists) and Laiken Wallick (9 kills, 11 digs).

TUSCARAWAS CENTRAL CATHOLIC 25-25-25, EAST CANTON 14-12-11

Tuscarawas Central Catholic remained unbeaten in IVC play after a three-set win over East Canton.

The Saints (14-4, 11-0) were led by Megan Peltz (8 kills, 4 digs), Gina Sciarretti (7 kills), and Maddie Ferrell (11 assists, 6 kills).

WADSWORTH 27-25-25, DOVER 25-23-16

WADSWORTH High School swept the Crimson Tornadoes on Thursday night, despite Dover, forcing a long first set.

Taylor Luneborg (19 kills, 21 digs) and Morgan Kiser (12 kills, 17 digs, 5 points, 2 aces) were the Tornadoes’ top performers.

NEW PHILADELPHIA 25-25-25, WARREN LOCAL 12-16-18

New Philadelphia improved to 6-10 with a three-set win over Warren Local.

The Quakers were led by Brooklyn Crowell (10 digs, 4 kills, 2 aces, 10 points) and Kallyn Perks (6 digs, 5 kills, 25 assists).

CARROLLTON 25-25-25, ALLIANCE 20-21-23

Carrollton sweated out a three-set match victory on Thursday.

The Warriors (5-15) were led by Molly Brace (12 points, 2 aces), Lauren Marmo (13 kills), Brylie Wade (16 assists), and Josie Burgett (14 digs).
