An 82-year-old Alliance woman is being treated at Mercy Medical Center after her car was hit head on Thursday afternoon, leaving her with serious injuries.
The crash occurred when a 2010 Jeep Patriot driven by Logan J. Stancato, 23, of Beloit went left of centering, forcing the 82-year-old, Ann Louis Schen, to go off the right side of the roadway. Stancato’s vehicle then struck Schen’s vehicle, causing his vehicle to roll off the west side of the road and come to a rest on private property.
The accident occurred along Beechwood Avenue NE, north of Bayton Street, Washington Township in Stark County.
Schen was transported to Mercy Medical, where she remains hospitalized. Stancato and his passenger, 35-year-old Derek E. Chittock, 35, of Beloit, were both transported to hospitals where they are both being treated for serious injuries.
