Locie Levengoof led the Trojans with 17 points and 19 assists, while Taylor West (10 kills) and Ashley Merrick (17 digs) also contributed to the victory.

Miah Delaney (five points, nine digs, two blocks) and Abbey Parker (seven kills, two blocks) led the Cardinals in the loss, which dropped S.V. to 3-8.

CLAYMONT 25-25-25, GARAWAY 15-20-19

Claymont High School won in straight sets in their Inter-Valley Conference match against Garaway.

Zayva Morain (25 assists), Marlie Wolf (7 kills) led the Mustangs, while Morgan Schlabach (11 kills) was the top performer for the Pirates.

TUSCARAWAS CENTRAL CATHOLIC 25-25-25, EAST CANTON 7-12-8

The Tuscarawas Central Catholic Saints improved to 7-2 (5-0 IVC) with a straight-sets win over the East Canton Hornets.

Maddie Ferrell led the Saints with seven kills, five aces, and 11 assists, while Reagan Triplett, Megan Peltz, and Gina Sciaretti all contributed five kills apiece.

RIDGEWOOD 25-25-25, INDIAN VALLEY 12-16-14

Ridgewood bested Indian Valley in three sets on Tuesday.

Ella Matusik (34 assists, three kills, 11 digs, nine points), Hannah Maust (seven kills, five blocks, 18 digs, four points, three aces), Kaylynn Robinson (12 kills, six digs, five points, three aces) led the Generals.

STRASBURG 25-25-25, NEWCOMERSTOWN 23-7-9

Strasburg sweated out a tough first set before easily handling Newcomerstown in the final two frames.

Zoey Minard (13 points, eight digs) and Danielle Wright (nine points, six aces, six digs) were the Tigers' top performers, as well as Emma Gilkerson (nine points, five aces) and Maddy Edwards (19 assists).

Conotton Valley kept Malvern winless in a straight-set match on Tuesday.

Colette Brown (16 points) and Ellie Bower (seven points, six digs, 10 assists) led C.V., while Maddie Powers (seven points, two aces) led the Hornets (0-7, 0-2).

Alliance took Carrollton to extra time in the second and fourth sets in a five-frame Eastern Buckeye Conference victory that dropped the Warriors to 1-12 (2-9 EBC).

Alli Stackhouse (13 kills, 24 digs) and Brylie Wade (nine points, two aces, 38 assists) led Carrollton.

GARAWAY 156, RIDGEWOOD 188

The Garaway Pirates' boys golf team handed Ridgewood its second loss of the season in a 32-shot victory in West Lafayette.

Charles Beachy was co-medalist for the match at 36, while Trace Gibson and Carter Miller each added 39s for the Pirates.

Nick Maust added a 42 for the Bucs, while Charlie Kilpatrick led at 36.

HILAND 147, TUSCARAWAS CENTRAL CATHOLIC 190

Carter Mishler fired a 3-under-par 33 as Hiland remained undefeated after their Tuesday match win over Tuscarawas Central Catholic at Oak Shadows.

The Hawks (11-0, 9-0 IVC) also received qualifying scores from Nathan Kline (37), Brookston Hummel (38), and Lucas Yoder (39).

The Saints (2-6) were led by Aaron Mercier and Anthony Pangrazio (both 46).

Sandy Valley (5-5) received a 36 from Connor Ritter in their match win over Claymont.

John Wood added a 38 for S.V., while Seth McCaulley carded a 42.

Luke Caley shot 48 for the Mustangs.

The Hornets won by fourteen strokes over Indian Valley at Great Trail.

Ethan Bush led Malvern (11-4) at 38, while Will Yerrick shot a 40. Connor Lefevre and Tucker Andrews carded 44 and 45, respectively.

Austen Gunn led the Braves with a 40, while Issac Stokey had a 41.

OHIO VALLEY ATHLETIC CONFERENCE TOURNAMENT

Conotton Valley finished in fourth place (350) among nine schools in the Ohio Valley Athletic Conference Tournament's 1A portion.

Gaige Galigher carded an 81 to finish 8th among 48 golfers.

The Lady Crimson Tornadoes handled Northwest on Tuesday.

Riley Schie scored a 39 for Dover, while Ava Adams (42), Sara Klar (48), and Mya Downing (49) followed.

Marlington bested Garaway and Malvern in a triangular match at Tannenhauf on Tuesday, handing the Pirates their first match loss of the season.

Zoe Mort (39), Marina Warner (43), Becky Kuhlman (45), and Jayden Mitchell (48) all scored for the Dukes (13-2). 

Sammi Miller and Sydni Prysi led the Bucs at 46 and 47, respectively.

Malvern (0-9) was led in scoring by Gianna Miller (48).

The Trojans spoiled Indian Valley's Senior Night by topping the Braves by sixteen shots on Tuesday.

Susan Thompson shot 37 to lead T.V., while Kylie Rohr shot 42.

Emily Jones led I.V. at 44.

Alivia Edwards carded a match-best 43 in Claymont's Tuesday win over Ridgewood.

Emma Woodward posted a 44 for the winners, while Jocelyn Scalambrino (48) and Meadow Duvall (50) also scored for the Mustangs.

Hiland won their road match against Canton Central Catholic on Tuesday.

Caelan Howell and Reese Mullet each scored a goal for the Hawks (3-4), while the two assisted on each other's respective scores.

Canton C.C. fell to 4-4-2 with the loss.

The Hiland girls' soccer team also picked up a win over the Crusaders on Tuesday.

Paige Gertz scored twice for the Hawks (5-2-1) while Mallory Stutzman and Kate Kaufman each added a goal.

The Braves (27 points) swept their quadrangular race at Gnadenhutten.

On the boys' side, Xander Heil's time of 18:27 broke the course record.

Indian Valley also won the girls' race (27 points), while Strasburg's Ella Pumphrey was the top girls individual at 21:21.
