Carter Mishler shot a 6-under 30 to lead Hiland High School’s Tuesday match victory over Tuscarawas Valley High School, 140-232, at Fire Ridge in Millersburg.

Brookston Hummel also fired an even-par 36 for the Hawks, while Garrett Shoup and Kenny Weaver carded 37s (+1). 

Connor Gardner led the Trojans at 38 (+2).

GARAWAY 157, CLAYMONT 208

Charles Beachy fired a 1-under 35 to lead the Garaway Pirates to a match win over Claymont at Black Gold in Sugarcreek.

Beachy was followed by Nick Maust’s 39 (+3), while Trace Gibson (41, +5) and Emmet Royer (42, +6) also qualified for the Bucs’ scoring.

NEW PHILADELPHIA 2.5, DOVER 0.5

New Philadelphia’s boys’ golfers defeated Dover in Tuesday match play.

New Philadelphia’s Nathan Menapace and Austin Erickson defeated Dover’s Jacob Hanner and Zach Dale 4&3, while the Quaker duo of Jackson Kinsey and Jodri Copp beat Dover’s Dylan Gerwell and Nolan Kellicker 2&1.

The Crimson Tornadoes salvaged a half-match with a tie (Carter Begue and Gavyn Gerber) against Jacob Hootman and Louis Devore. 

INDIAN VALLEY 174, TUSCARAWAS CENTRAL CATHOLIC 189

Aden Trushell (42, +6) led Indian Valley to an IVC win over the Saints at River Greens.

Austen Gunn (43, +7), Isaac Stokey (44, +8), and Daniel Grewell (45, +9) also scored for Indian Valley. 

Aaron Mercier (43, +7) led Central Catholic.

RIDGEWOOD 180 EAST CANTON 219

Charlie Kilpatrick shot a 2-over 38 as Ridgewood for their win over East Canton at River Greens.

Jeremiah Kandel (48, +12) led the scores for the Hornets.

The Generals improved to 8-1 and 6-1 in the IVC with the victory.

CONOTTON VALLEY 187, SANDY VALLEY 188

The Conotton Valley Rockets edged Sandy Valley by a single shot on Tuesday.

Gage Galigher shot a 38 (+2) for C.V., while Justin Lambert (43, +7), Sean O’Connor (45, +9), and Cole Edie (61, +25) also qualified.

MINERVA 193*, SALEM 193

The Minerva Lions used a fifth-score tiebreaker to win over Salem at Salem Hills.

Minerva’s Logan Good led the Lions’ scores with a 46 (+10), while Case Waller, Aaron Honeycutt (both 47, +11), and Connor Good (53, +17).

GARAWAY 162, TUSCARAWAS VALLEY 164

Garaway’s girls’ golfers remained undefeated in IVC play with a two-shot win over Tusky Valley at Black Gold.

Sammi Miller shot a 2-over 38, with Sydni Prysi (40, +4), Brooklyn Numbers, and Olivia Immel (both 42,+6) following for the Lady Bucs.

Tusky Valley’s Kylie Rohr shot a 2-under 34, along with Susan Thompson’s even-par 36.

INDIAN VALLEY 186, CLAYMONT 187

Emily Jones and Abbie Barrett posted a pair of 43s (+7) to lead Indian Valley over Claymont by a single shot at Big Bend.

Natalie Holbrook (47, +11) and Lexi Lute (53, +17) also qualified for I.V., while Claymont’s top scorer was Olivia Edwards (37, +1).
