The Stark County Sheriff’s Office arrived at a home in East Canton on Sunday to make an arrest of a local man, but it took extra man power to get him to comply, according to a release from the Stark County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies were dispatched to the 6000 block of Oakfield Street Northeast in Osnaburg Township in response to a domestic violence incident.
When they arrive, they discovered 55-year-old Gregory E. Weber Sr. inside the home, refusing to exit the residence. The Stark County Sheriff’s Office says the Canton Co-Operative SWAT Team was called for assistance after Weber failed to exit the home.
He was taken into custody and charged with
- Domestic Violence – Felony of the 4th Degree
- Inducing Panic – Misdemeanor of the 1st Degree
- Resisting Arrest – Misdemeanor of the 2nd Degree
- Obstructing Official Business – Misdemeanor of the 2nd Degree
