Inductees for Carrollton Athletic Alumni Hall of Fame set for enshrinement

Carrollton High School will enshrine its newest class into the Carrollton High School Athletic Alumni Hall of Fame this Saturday.

The inductees include:

Patrick Herron, a 1967 Carrollton graduate who lettered in football, basketball, and baseball

Tim Hepner (Class of 2004), who played for the Warriors’ golf team

Brad Roudebush (Class of 2003), who ran track and cross country

Ray Metz, who coached the school’s basketball team from 1928-34

The 1954-55 boys’ basketball team that won the East Central Ohio League title.

The inductees were selected by the school’s Athletic Hall of Fame committee in 2020, but due to the coronavirus pandemic, the nominations were held over for the 2021 year.

The induction ceremony will begin Saturday, Aug. 21 at 8:45 a.m. at Carrollton High School’s performing arts center, while the inductees will be recognized at this Friday’s Carrollton football game against St. Clairsville at Community Field.
